BCSA GEAR has designed a high power speed increaser for turbine balancing machine.
This gearbox permits a choice between 3 different output speeds on the same HS shaft.
The step by step rotation of the turbine is possible thanks to an embedded auxiliary drive.

Test bench for helicopter transmission gearbox, 57,500Nm

BCSA GEAR was involved in the realization of a test bench for a helicopter main transmission gearbox (MGB). We provided for an integrator different mechanical components including, the reducers, the speed increaser, the mast force sytem and the couplings.

This bench allows to simulate rotation force and also every forces applied to the mast. The rig permits a maximum torque of 57,000 Nm on the rotor mast at 365 rpm. The loading system is composed of two 2,100W electrical motors. This test bench includes also a rear rotor loaded on the same way.
